It is going to be a really summer to remember for me and the nation. We have already had the Diamond Jubilee, and we have the Olympics and Paralympics ahead, a glorious event for London and the UK. On a personal level, I am going to New York and Pittsburgh for a conference on AAC, as well as a disabled windsurfing holiday in Belguim. On top of that, we have the broadcast of “I’m Spazticus” in August, which I will let everything know the exact days when I know!


While the weather may not be perfect, this is very special summer and being in Coventry, one of the host cities of London 2012, there is a real buzz that this is going to be special and I am glad to be a part of it however small it may be.
