The idea that every story has a beginning, middle and an end may by obvious although for it is interesting how often begin forget this as they believe some stories can go on forever. By story, we could be talking about a person, a product, a company, a concept or even a belief. In technology, what is the dominating company one year, like Microsoft, is replaced by another company like Apple, who will one day by replaced by yet another company. The Independent Living Fund is another example.

I believe a sign of maturity is understanding that life is not the static thing we may have believed when we were children and something which is constantly changing. It is our job to surf through the waves of beginnings and ends to make our own story.
